About

On Air Broadcast Crew is a hands-on way to build real AI skills across your organization. Teams produce their own news broadcast, and every person uses AI to do their part.

The program kicks off with a short introduction to AI and focused video training on a curated set of tools, so the whole group starts from the same baseline.

Then teams become independent newsrooms. Each member takes on a specialist role, such as scriptwriter, researcher, image or video creator, voice talent, editor or producer, with AI tools matched to that job. Working from a brief, a template and a realistic scenario, crews produce a news segment and present it to the room.

As time allows, crews share which tools worked and where they hit roadblocks, and the session wraps with a debrief on key takeaways and how to keep growing AI skills on the job.

Learning outcomes

People retain AI skills best when they apply them to a real deliverable. Because every specialist's work has to come together in one broadcast, collaboration and creativity grow naturally, and people gain respect for roles they rarely think about.

Open conversation throughout the session helps address common concerns about AI in the workplace and builds a culture of continuous learning.

The program makes the case clearly: AI is there to augment your people, not replace them. It frees them for more strategic, creative work, and participants start spotting opportunities to apply it in their own workflows.

If it is helpful, the debrief can also open a conversation about responsible AI use and how your organization plans to handle it, so employees feel informed and heard. It is a practical first step for any AI adoption plan.
