Classic Cinema Remake
Lights, camera, teamwork: remake a Hollywood classic in one afternoon.

About
Classic Cinema Remake gives every team its own Hollywood studio for the afternoon. The goal is to produce a 15-minute version of a famous classic movie.
Each team is assigned a film and given a huge selection of props and costumes. The costumes spark ideas instantly, and teams quickly discover their natural directors, writers and stars.
Teams then write the script, cast the roles, plan the shots and rehearse. When the cameras roll, they film and reshoot scenes until every take is just right. Every team brings its own twist, so no two remakes are alike.
In as little as three hours, every movie is in the can. The red-carpet premiere screens each film, followed by a glitzy awards show that celebrates the best performances and productions.
Learning outcomes
This laughter-filled challenge helps people drop their inhibitions and get creative. Acting, scriptwriting and filming push everyone a little outside their comfort zone, often with hilarious results, and coworkers see each other in a whole new light.
With time tight, teamwork, strategy and smart role assignments are critical. Teams that lock in a plan early spend more of their time actually filming.
Filming and reshooting teaches teams to keep improving and aim for excellence while keeping an eye on the clock. A great take usually comes from steady, small improvements.
Teams also learn to balance different personalities and ideas while working toward a shared vision. The premiere gives everyone a proud, memorable moment, and even the quietest coworkers often steal the show.
