About

Global Goals Quest is an app-based team game built around the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals, the global blueprint for a better future. It is a great fit for ESG initiatives, Earth Day events and sustainability kickoffs, and teams can play in person, remotely or in a hybrid format.

After a short briefing on the goals, each team receives a tablet and the game begins.

Teams climb levels by completing challenges, each one tied to a goal such as No Poverty, Zero Hunger or Climate Action. There are knowledge questions, puzzles, photo tasks and active challenges at several difficulty levels.

The app guides every step as teams submit answers, earn points and race up the leaderboard, learning along the way what each goal means and how everyday choices can make a difference.

Learning outcomes

Teams have to understand the game together and agree on a flexible strategy. They soon discover that innovative thinking and clear communication help them climb faster, and choosing which level to tackle next keeps every team talking.

Listening well and speaking up with ideas are both essential, especially when time is short. Because every challenge is linked to a real goal, the game sparks conversations about sustainability that continue long after it ends.

Trust grows as teammates recognize each other's strengths and work toward a bigger shared purpose: making the world a better place.

The game is fun and leaves people with a real sense of togetherness. Most importantly, participants walk away knowing more about the global goals and how small changes in their own habits can add up.
